WHR Ratings by Fighter Search
Hello, I have found it easy to find ELO and Glicko-1 ratings when I search by Fighter name but I find I have to search through the division ratings to find the WHR. Is there an easier way to find WHR by Fighter?

Are you referring to the mouse-over pop up on the fighter's fight history?

Yes when I go to the fighter page it'll show the post fight ELO and Glicko-1 ratings next to the fighter but not WHR. Just wondering if there is a way to search WHR without going through the division ratings page

Currently there's no way to view the historical WHR ratings.
We could display the current WHR rating on the currently ranked fighters' profiles, but I think that may not be very meaningful without any context?

I appreciate you even taking a look at this but I'm referring to these ratings listed when I search by fighter. It gives Pre and Post ELO K-170, ELO Modified and Glicko-1 but doesn't have WHR Pre and Post. I attached a screenshot of what I'm referring to. If this is possible to include that would be incredible otherwise no worries I can continue finding it through the weight class rankings.

Yeah I don't think it's possible to show pre-post fight WHR ratings at this point in time. We could only show the current WHR rating at best.

Re: WHR Ratings by Fighter Search
WHR is an exact point-in-time calculation. It is too computationally demanding to generate fight-specific ratings.
Example: Let's say I want pre- and post-fight WHR ratings for Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic.
To be 100% accurate, I'd have to run the WHR system for all fights taking place before this. Then, I'd have to run it again for the same dataset + this fight. At minimum, I'd want to run it per day. Why?
If we did quarterly (like we do for the others), WHR would stop at the end of 2024 and would have more info that would alter ratings for that (and all other fights), because more info would be available from fights of their previous opponents.... and opponents of those opponents, etc.
I think there is a ~90% approach where WHR would walk through time and drop a static rating at the end of each day, while using the dynamic rating and continuing on..... but this is not on my radar at the moment.

Re: WHR Ratings by Fighter Search
Thanks for clarifying! I didn't know all that goes into this specific rating. Again I appreciate the response though. It's fairly easy for me to find the higher ranked fighters WHR under the weight class ratings, it's usually just the newer fighters that are way down the ratings that takes time to find.
