A reliable source has shared with us that there is an investment group working on the financial details in an attempt to relaunch Xtreme Fighting Latinos (XFL) based in Mexico City (CDMX). The venture would bring multinational business men together in an effort to relaunch the fight league that has been dormant since 2019. The new ownership group would seek to hold events primarily throughout Mexico beginning in 2025. Then look to expand throughout Latin America and the Caribbean in the months and years to follow. Apparently, there are a few hurdles that need to be cleared that my source tells me are being discussed and worked through over the next several months. The group would be headed by Sergio Ramon Jimenez Bocos.

I have been a spectator of the UFC since 2001. For 25 years I’ve worked in healthcare, and now am trying to make something that was a hobby, into a full-time endeavor.
